Paytm opens new chat app ‘Inbox.’
Digital payments gient Paytm on Thursday unveiled its own messaging platform with an option of making in-chat payments —Inbox, ahead of global giant WhatsApp, which is likely to announce in-chat payments soon.
Millions use Paytm for a wide variety of payment use-cases. a new offering on chat app with a fast and simple messaging service that will let you chat with your friends and family, and send/request money at the same time. You can even chat with your friendly neighborhood shopkeeper and order stuff easily and send them money instantly on delivery.
The messaging platform is encrypted end-to-end, and you can initiate private conversations and create group chats as per your choice. You can also send photos and videos instantly, share live location, capture and share moments with the built-in camera.
Apart from messaging, Paytm Inbox also includes Notifications, where you can see cashback offers available across categories. This will ensure you never miss another opportunity to save while you shop. It will also feature Orders, that will let you view your order and transaction updates and Games, which will be loaded with exciting Cricket and trivia-based games you’d love.
We understand you may send something by mistake. You can recall a message whether to one person or a group by using the ‘Delete for All’ option. The good news is, there are no deadlines for this to work
